Succession star Kieran Culkin has revealed that series creator Jesse Armstrong had ideas for a fifth season, but ultimately decided to end the Emmy-winning HBO show on its own terms. Culkin, who played Roman Roy, said Armstrong had the cast guessing about the show’s future until the final table read. He said Armstrong pitched several “amazing” ideas off the top of his head for a fifth and further seasons, but recognised the series had to end at the appropriate time. “Succession” is highly acclaimed for its writing, performances, and directing.
