In an interview regarding The Marvels, Brie Larson confirmed that Captain Marvel will make a return to the MCU in the future. Avengers: Kang Dynasty or Avengers: Secret Wars seem like natural fits, considering Captain Marvel’s immense strength and the team’s likely need for her assistance. Additionally, Carol has been established as a mentor for Kamala Khan, so she may also have a cameo in the Young Avengers project hinted at in The Marvels.

Furthermore, Carol made a brief appearance in the post-credits scene of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
