Mehdi Ghorbanpour
Mehdi Ghorbanpour is born in 1979
in Babol in northern Iran. He started
his career as filmmaker in 1992. In
early 2000, he established the
Varesh International Film Festival
and worked as the executive
director of festival. He is now in
charge of public relations of ISFA
(Iranian Short Film Association). Also
he was the director of Film & Still
Photograph Section of the 1st International
Festival of Common Heritage.
He has made 20 short and
documentary films as a director and
producer which have been participated
and awarded in various local
and international festivals. Some of
his works are End of Game (1995),
Issa of Rain (2001), By Sky (2001),
Where There is Nobody (2002). |
