The director: “This is a time pass comedy film and a salute to
the Bollywood cinema I grew up with. It is a ‘comical fairy
tale-like’ with a non-conventional narrative of today’s super
fast Bombay-lifestyle. The film is a comedy of errors, with
unbelievable coincidences and a lot of drama with the melodrama.
It is not any spoof on any Bollywood cinema because
I take pride in growing up with Bollywood films that sold
dreams to the common audience that are larger than life.
A feature film shot in only 8000 US $ including post-production
and finishing. The film has a cast of 22 characters - with
blend of professional aspiring actors and ordinary people.
Shot on a progressive scan digital video format for digital
theatre release, something different for the Indian film-screen
and is aimed for a digital release through streaming servers,
hence, bypassing & eliminating the entire lab. processing and
film-prints.”
