Simone Guidi Di Bagno

He was born and grew up in Rome. He inherited from his father, a film producer, the passion for arts and cinema. Since the second part of the '60 he worked in Italian cinema as a production assistant and production manager. 1975 he entered at the United Nations upon the function of director and producer. Until 1995 he directed and produced for the UN and asindependent director various documentaries about social and political topics, like environment, the homeless, disabled persons,Palestinians, women, freedom operations. 1995 he left the UN and began again to draw and paint. 1998 and 2004 exhibitions in New York. He made graphic works for various publications. 2006 he realized the book Nation R US, with the purpose to explain the complicated mechanisms of the UN in a simple, poetic and humoristic way.
