Thailand is known worldwide for the wonders of its culture and nature. This documentary wants to throw light upon some contradictions of this millenary civilization, using the theme of one of the national sports.

He debuted as a photograph. In the ‘70s he devoted himself to documentary direction. 1975 he founded the production company Film Service and shoot many reports in various parts of the world, collaborating assiduously with the RAI and other international broadcasts. 1984 he produced and directed the documentary The Last Maharajas. 1985 he is in Afghanistan to shoot a film on the war, and in India for a film on the separatists Sik and one on Dalai Lama’s exile. 1990 he is back to Afghanistan on commission of the TV series Mixer and shoots a report on post-war tribal conflicts. Since the ’80 he is more and more present in Asia, shooting in Thailand, Burma, Kazakhstan, Siberia, Bali.
