Indochina Mon Amour tells
about the fasChination that Asia exerts on a fifty years old
western man who is through the crisis of values where the
western societies are fallen. He leaves alone and for the
first time for the Asian continent. He decides instinctively
to travel as much as possible far away from the tourist routes
of Thailand and Laos, heading for the stateless tribes of
the Golden Triangle. It is almost an attempt to go back in
time, using the local media of communication, in order to
penetrate as deep as possible in the real conditions of local
people’s daily life. The point of view can only be a
bird’s-eye view, that reports the impact and the violent
emotions the different oriental philosophy of life and the
different assignment of the so called primary values of life,
give rise in him.
