Madhav Apte is the perfect
representative of the middle class of urban India. He is married,
has two children, works in a bank as a class one officer,
has no hobby und no ambition except for the struggle to catch
a window seat in his daily commuting by Dombivli Fast, the
local train of Mumbai. He leads a life of strong principles
and has never corrupted anyone, nor has he ever been corrupted.
But he can no longer withstand the corruption and lawlessness
he is surrounded by. He tries to intervene and to free society
from the evil. Neither his family nor his friends approve
his idea. One day he goes berserk and suddenly finds himself
on the side of the criminals.

Nishikant Kamat
Nishikant Kamat started his career in the
Indian film industry in 1991 as assistant director and became
editor in 1993. He edited more than 300 episodes of various
television series before becoming a television series director
in 1995. His successful career in television as director boasts
series of all genres, including social, horror, drama, thriller,
suspense and also documentary. In 2001 he took the opportunity
to work in the mainstream Indian film. After working for about
3 years as a screenwriter, Nishikant made his debut as director
with the marathi feature film Dombivli Fast. The film was
commercial hit and a critical success, winning 32 awards in
various categories and festivals in India, the Best Film Award
at The Pune International Film Festival and the Grand Jury
Award for the best film at the Indian Film Festival of Los
Angeles.
