This Jeonju International
Film Festival's ambitious project began already with the inception
of the festival with the purpose to delve into the possibilities
within the digital format and to show the results at theatres
and festivals worldwide. Started 2000, the project give 3
Asian directors every year the chance to explore this visual
format and is now acknowledged as one of the foremost digital
projects in the world. About Love is the very modern and subtle
story of the delayed love of a lonely teacher for his old
friend’s wife. No Day Off charts four years in the life
of a young woman who leaves her husband and baby to work as
a maid in Singapore. The narrative unfolds through her perspective
and captures her trials and tribulations as she works for
three different families. Twelve Twenty is a micro love story:
a man and a woman on a plane spend 12 h and 20 min. living
by each other’s side, just like a married couple.
