Set in the city of Chongqing
in central China, Crazy Stone begins when a priceless jade
pendant is discovered in the rubble of a rundown factory owned
by soon-to-bankrupt factory boss Xie. Under mounting pressure
to sell his factory site to a Hong Kong developer with underworld
ties, Xie decides to hold an exhibition at a local temple
to showcase and promote his extraordinary find. And to protect
his interests, Xie hires the ex-cop Bao Shihong to handle
security during the exhibition.
Naturally, a host of competing interests and queer characters
soon come into play, all hatching schemes to snatch the priceless…
