a.m., at a junction a group of people are waiting for the red
light. A young policeman, who is in charge of changing the traffic
lights, prolongs the time of the red light in order to see his
beloved: an actress. After a while, he expresses his love to
her, but there is a wide distance separating them. This refusal
pushes the young policeman to commit suicide, but he is opportunely
rescued. There are two more storylines interwoven in the narration:
the difficulties faced by a motorist due to a troublesome old
man and the tormented love relationship between an Afghan welder
and a runaway girl.
