| Following
the death of his mother, Reza takes her belongings and moves
into an inn. There, he becomes close friend with his roommate
Ahmad. When Reza’s belongings are stolen, the two friends
pursue the matter and become acquainted with a man named Abdol
who entrusts a girl, Fatemeh, to Reza and asks him to take her
to a certain address. Reza, in turn, entrusts the girl to his
sister, Zivar. In a fight, Abdol’s storehouse is set on
fire and the main characters return home.

Massoud Kimiae was born in Tehran in 1941. He is known as
a director whose films present the life of rebels and troublemakers.
He began his film career in 1965 as assistant of director
Khachikian. He became known when in 1969 he directed his second
film Qeysar. In the 70s he shot Baluch (1972) and The Soil
(1973). His later works, Snake Fang (1990), The Sergeant (1991),
Sultan (1997), The Cry (1999), The Protest (2000), describe
the lives of emotionally wounded heroes with whom the viewer
is expected to identify.
