Born in 1954 in Gorgan, Ensieh
Shah-Hosseini is a graduate in cinema. She is also a researcher
and a novelist. She has been a war reporter, documentary filmmaker,
and a professional screenwriter. Her second film, Deadline
won the first prize at the Women Film Festival of Seoul in
2001.
