After the war is made up of three short films. A Letter from Hiroshima. Korean actress Kim receives a letter from Japanese director Suwa, who says he wants to work with her in Hiroshima. However, when she arrives there, no one knows where Suwa is. Survival Game. Stockbroker K is involved in a swindle which causes the suicide of his senior. Hiding from the police, he disguises his identity. The New Year. Due to September 11, a person is anxious to return home from the States to bid farewell to the father in critical condition.

Suwa Nobuhiro born in 1960 in Hiroshima, Japan. In 1997, he received the Netpac Award for 2/Duo and the Fipresci award for M/Other at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.

Moon Seung-Wook was born in 1967 in Seoul, Korea. His first short film was awarded a special prize at the 1st Seoul Short Film Festival, 1994. He debuted in 1997 with his first feature film Alien. He drew public attention after his second feature film Nabi (The Butterfly) which won a prize at the Locarno Film Festival in 2001.

Wang Xiaoshuai was born in 1965 in Shanghai, China. In 1988, he graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. He worked as an assistant director at Fujiang Studio. His film So Close to Paradise was selected for the “Un Certain Regard” award at Cannes Film Festival. In 2001 he directs the Beijing Bicycle, winner of Grand Jury Prize at Berlin. In 2003 he shot Drifters, screened at Cannes.
